Slide Action is a multi-award winning quartet, formed in 2018 by a group of friends with the aspiration of developing the trombone quartet into something different.
Passionate about creating a new voice for the trombone they regularly commission new music from composers, collaborate with other musicians and create their own arrangements.
Slide Action have just released their debut album RE:BUILD to critical acclaim. The CD entered the UK specialist classical charts at no.5 and won BBC Music Magazine’s Recording of the Month for December 2024. A number of their arrangements are now published by Resonata Music, with more being added regularly to this new series.
