Description
Gershwin is one of the few composers to genuinely span the worlds of classical and jazz music, and is one of the twentieth century’s most influential musical voices, despite his untimely death at the age of 38.
All of these songs (Summertime, I Got Rhythm, The Man I Love, ’S Wonderful) started life in Gershwin’s various musicals, but have since become best known as popular jazz standards in their own right.
